Why we write...

All great books have one thing in common - they were written.  Sadly, they also share this trait with all the mediocre, poor, and downright bad books out there.  It is thus not the ink that makes the book what it is, but the pen which shapes it.  Therefore, the inkwell is the boiling pot from which the ideas pour forth, aimless and wild, wanting the be given purpose and meaning.
