The idea behind it

Inkwell is a world of wandering passageways, random court, and spacious halls, all speckled with doors and windows which, by all account, should lead to nowhere. However, that is the special nature of Inkwell. It received that name because of its similarity to a real inkwell. It is the origin of all written stories. In Inkwell, as stories are written down, the imaginary becomes actuality. The authors ideas actually form into a world behind one of the many doors that inhabit the realm. Thus, while Inkwell itself is a simple place, behind every door lies an existing adventure to join, or a blank page onto which an adventure may be written.
